Upon graduating, Jeremy earned fitness certifications through the International Sports and Science Association, as well as the IYCA for High School Strength & Conditioning and Youth Nutrition. Jeremy has worked with a diverse population, ranging from strength training top level college athletes, men’s and women’s fitness competitors as well as personal training weekend warriors.

Being a fitness professional is not only a career but a passion for Jeremy, who practices what he preaches. When he isn’t fitness training and consulting, Jeremy has been fortunate enough to appear in: SHAPE Magazine, Lift for Life, Men’s Fitness, AZ Foothills Magazine, Wellness Messenger, Scottsdale Health Magazine, Max Sports & Fitness Magazine, Coolfit, Genetic War, Muscle & Strength, World Physique, Six Pack Now, LIVESTRONG,  Cut and Jacked, Muscle & Fitness Magazine, The Pro Exposure, Muscle Magazine as well as a reoccurring fitness role on the TV show Sonoran Living on ABC.

Jeremy’s philosophy is about being the best you can be. It’s not about comparing yourself to other people you see in the gym, on TV, or in magazines. Fitness is the fairest form of society — whatever you put into it, you get back out of it. Push yourself to your absolute limits every time you train. Remember, you will never get to do today over again, so make the most of it!

1. What motivates you?

The thought of looking back on my life knowing that in every arena be it health, fitness, business, my relationships whatever I gave it my 100% effort to be the best I could possibly be. Knowing I demanded more of myself than anyone else ever could, and knowing all these efforts not only made my life bad ass but that I was also able to touch, inspire, and improve the lives of many!

2. Describe a difficult situation you were in and how you overcame it?

Going from being what I thought was a healthy college athlete, towards the graduation my health started to take a turn for the worse. Ranging from things such as intestinal ulcers to poor kidney function being told I have chronic kidney disease. To make a long story short, many of my eating and drinking choices put me into this situation.  Some of the factors may have been genetic, but the reality I abused my body and didn’t take care it and at 20 years old it was starting to show. I was depressed for a short time because of it, but soon decided to take this negative occurrence and turn it into something positive.

It was a wake up call for me, feeling horrible, visiting physicians day after day, getting tests done, ETC. I made a choice to really appreciate the gift my body and health was and I never looked back. It’s hard to imagine my normal diet consisted of drinking booze eating processed food and never taking vitamins or eating veggies. Now it’s a complete 180 and I am thankful for everyday I have in a body that is healthy, fit, and highly functioning.

3. What are your goals for the future?

My personal goals are simple just continue to grow as a person, I want to learn about everything, I want to keep improving myself in every facet of my life. I want to continue to grow Jeremy Scott Fitness & www.jeremyscottfitness.com as well as www.getleanglutenfree.com and help as many people as possible realize living a clean eating, hard training lifestyle is a great way to go through life.

4. What’s your favorite snack?

Other than my phresh greens of course I would go with chai seed kombucha I love the grap chia kombucha I am 100% addicted to the stuff.

5. What is your favorite quote?

My favorite all time is hard to pick but one I love is –

“The greatest opportunity in the world is found here today… We already know what yesterday has got for us. It’s already gone. Tomorrow, too far away. What about right now!” – Ray Lewis
